My handmade bags...

One of the things I enjoy when I make bags is that I get to experiment using different fabrics. Look at the bags I made recently. Adding one fabric makes those bags look so different.

 

That is the fun of handmade. Most of the time, I try not to duplicate ones I made before. I try to change something. Even if that is just minor changes like different colors and sizes. Just wanted to share with you that the bags I make are truly OOAK!

Japanese "Kimono" fabric bag

This one is already on a wish list of someone! When I brought this fabric from Japan, I was asked to save some for her so that she would have a custom made bag. It looks like kimono fabric with splashed patterns (kasuri) so the dots seem softer to the eyes. So lovely!

Take a look at this antique purple cotton canvas bag. I have been making lots of granny bags, but each one looks and feels different. This one is no exception. Sweet but not too cute. It is just the way I like!
