This is the small granny bag just like the ones that I have been making. But I chose the simple black fabric with a bit of sparkly accent. If you like simple yet unique bags, you would like this one... just the right amount of sparkle, not too much not too little.

For those who came to the party, thank you so much! It was fun, fun, fun.... We talked a lot, ate a lot, and shopped a lot. All what we love to do! It was a great opportunity for me to talk to people who are interested in my creations. I hope to continue the gatherings like this one.

Atomy(Korean cosmetics) and Angeni Magic(power stone bracelets) were also there. Of course, I had some shopping done myself. The body lotion I got smells and feels great. The power stone bracelet that I am wearing is just beautiful and makes me feel empowered.

When you need a tiny bag...

 
These are petite granny bags (approx.7"x 7"). They don't hold much like other bags I make. But sometimes you don't need much to go out. When you walk your dog, when you go grab a few stuff at a store, when you go pick up your child... you certainly don't need to carry a huge bag that has everything in it for just in case you need it.
So lighten up. Put your cell phone, keys and small purse in the bag and go!

I finally got the zippers I needed for the pouches. Here, more pouches that some of you have asked. I hope you can find the ones you like!

I also have to make more granny bags. They are all cut, marked, pressed and ready to be sewn. So much to do and so little time!

On the weekend...

Well, it was rainy over the weekend here in California. I shouldn't complain because we have very comfortable weather throughout the year. But rainy days mean no outdoor activities. That means... more sewing!

But I was also looking for some new materials. So the actual sewing has progressed just a bit. It is OK though. I've got lots of great ideas for the future.

 Today, I have added the Hawaiian theme fabric up there for you to see. These have been quite popular so I don't have a lot to go around.

This bag.... so lovely to carry around. Pleated nicely to show the pattern on the fabric. It is a nice everyday bag!

My fabric collections

I have collected lots of fabric as you can imagine (lol). Every time I see fabric I like I can't resist buying. After I look at what I made, I know I made a right decision.

I am showing just a few from my fabric collections. These are great for bags, purses, pouches, and etc. I usually get a few yards of each fabric. If you see something you like please let me know. I can't guarantee how long it will stay available. Once it's gone, it's gone!

Spring has come!

I don't know if today is the official day to declare the beginning of spring, but it certainly feels like it. Flowers are blooming out there even in my collections!

What I made today...

So I am finally done with the pouch that I was working on. Here it is! Also, I made a pencil case for her daughter. Hope she will like it!

Here, I am making a pouch for my friend. The combination of fabrics was chosen by her from my fabric collections. What a cute looking pouch it will be!
